Chiefs have made a strong start to the campaign with three successive wins against Stellenbosch FC, Polokwane City and Richards Bay.
The Soweto giants have also been able to win those games in the absence of head coach Nasreddine Nabi, who will be back on the touchline this evening.
Sundowns, meanwhile, will be out to secure nothing less than three points after being knocked out of the MTN8 by Orlando Pirates on Saturday.
In the league, Sundowns were victorious in their last outing against Magesi FC with a 2-0 victory seven days ago.
